The four Degas studio sales

When Edgar Degas died in 1917, the contents of his studio were dispersed in four public sales at the Galerie Georges Petit, from May 1918 to July 1919. The illustrated catalogues reproduce every lot, and remain the reference source for the provenance of works left in the studio. This page gives access to the 2,150 lots, catalogued page by page, with their reproduction, their notice as printed, and a link to the original catalogue page.
